Copenhagen Admiral Hotel has a central location along the waterfront in the beautiful and rustic warehouse that exudes its long history. The hotel's architectural beauty is undeniable when you enter the hotel. High ceilings and impressive tree beams are the hotel's signature and a testament to the old Copenhagen and the rich trading period of the 18th century. Hotel Admiral is a large hotel with 366 rooms, but despite its size it was possible to preserve an intimate atmosphere inside.

On the ground floor there is a small bar and restaurant SALT, which serves a globally inspired food with seasonal ingredients of high quality. The restaurant has a vegetarian day every week and, like the rest of the hotel, is incredibly environmentally conscious. Copenhagen Admiral Hotel is a member of the international environmental organization Green Key, which requires waste sorting, awareness of energy consumption and environmentally responsible procurement. As a guest, you will be kindly involved in how you can act in an environmentally friendly way during your stay at the hotel.

Where to go: There are several options around the hotel suitable for walking with your dog. Just around the corner you can have a walk along Sankt Annæ Plads - nice allé with grass in the middle. Historical fortification Kastellet is a great option for morning walks / running with your dog and it is only 10 minutes’ walk away along the Copenhagen waterfront.

Allowed areas: You can freely use the following areas: entrance in foyer and reception area, elevators, as well as the "bar area", where you can eat your breakfast with your dog. In respect to other guests there are restrictions in other areas of the hotel.

Size n’ shape: All sizes are welcome. Basically there are no quantity restrictions either. Amazing right?

Room amenities: No equipment for dogs is offered or available - but it is possible to loan a bowl if needed.

Great for: Short to medium length stays.

Accommodation fee: Dogs can stay for 11€ / 100 dkk per day.

Dog loving or friendly? A dog friendly hotel with great potential.

Other: A dog walker can be arranged as an additional service.

A few rooms have a two level layout with really steep stairs up to the sleeping area / room - ask for a single room layout if you prefer.

Dogs are not allowed to stay in the room alone for more than 1.5 hours. If you have to leave your dog alone for a longer period, you have to inform the reception about it.

If you ask us: Make sure your dog is trained, well behaved, calm and travel-savvy when bring him/her to a hotel stay. For the stress-free experience.

Last tip: To avoid unpleasant surprises for both your dog and the hotel staff, always use the “Do not disturb” sign when leaving your dog alone in the room, even for 5 minutes.
