In a Bohemian chic style, on the famous Avenue Jean Médecin, which has recently become pedestrianised and with its department stores on both sides of the road, the Yelo Hotel flouts the conventions of the classic hotel industry. Just a few minutes away from the Promenade des Anglais and the sea, nestled in a beautiful Haussmann-style building transformed into a new boutique hotel, the staff at the Yelo Hotel will welcome you in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere.

Yelo Hotel opened their doors in summer 2021. Ecology, respect for the environment and short supply circuits are pillars the hotel concept is built on. YELO, short for You Enjoy Life Once, provides guests with an inclusive atmosphere conducive to social interaction and sharing.

The decoration is inspired by travels between the Mediterranean and Bali and the hotel’s contemporary interior combines local handicrafts with design pieces.
Guided by the talented interior designer, Lana Sarich Goujon, they prefer to position themselves as a large holiday home rather than a traditional hotel, with an entirely environmentally-friendly approach. The hotel’s contemporary interior combines local handicrafts with design pieces and you will find terracotta from small Italian manufacturing plants close to Nice and solid wood floorboards next to Tom Dixon carpets and chandeliers by Czech brand Brokis. A fusion of influences, far from conventional styles.

The 54 rooms combine comfort and elegance with fabrics in pale and dark tones. From small city rooms to larger family rooms with interconnecting doors, each is conceptualized to create a welcoming atmosphere. Eco-friendly initiatives include a zero-waste policy and local procurement. Enjoy an organic breakfast at the 1stfloor YELO Lounge bar, and at night, indulge in a glass of wine and tapas while listening to great music before going out to dinner.

With 20 minutes walk from the promenade and its beach and 15 minutes’ walk from the beautiful old town, this boutique hotel’s central location is perfect. If you’re traveling with your dog, the hotel offers a special welcome for the furry guests.

Where to go: Along the coast, stunning landscapes unfurl one after the other and there are endless places to seek adventures such as the Esteral mountains and the Nice Hinterlands. If you are up for a roadtrip visit Monaco and Menton if you head to the Italian border or Antibes, Cannes and Fréjus if you take the road to the west.

Allowed areas: Small dogs are welcome at the Yelo Hotel, they receive the same treatment as their family. They can go everywhere in the hotel on a lead.

Size n’ shape: Dogs up to 15kg are welcome. If the dog is working in order to help the owner in relation to health issues, exceptions can be made. Please mention your dog request when you make your booking.

Room amenities: Bowls, toys and dog-cookies are available at the Yelo Hotel.

Accommodation fee: Bring your dog to the gorgeous Yelo Hotel for only 15€ per day / per dog.

If you ask us: Make sure your dog is trained, well behaved, calm and travel-savvy when bring him/her to a hotel stay. A stress-free stay for everyone.

Last tip: To avoid unpleasant surprises for both your dog and the hotel staff, always use the “Do not disturb” sign when leaving your dog alone in the room, even for 5 minutes.

On the first floor, the Yelo Hotel reveals a totally unique place. Changing from a cosy, warm lounge during the day, it becomes a bar-lounge with a refined, fashionable atmosphere in the evening. The decoration and colours change over the day to reveal a dynamic, festive venue, in keeping with the times and the region. Comfortably installed in the velvet sofas or seated around the shared tables, discover the tailormade menu of the Yelo Hotel consisting of exclusively simple, great and local food.

The rooms:

An elegant design which blends Mediterranean chic with Balinese exoticism. Refined materials and a mix of light and dark colours are matched with authenticity and craftsmanship without skimping contemporary design. In your room you will find: Micro filtered water, premium french anti-allergenic bedding, natural soap and shampoo, minibar, safety deposit box, hair dryer, USB sockets, access to Spotify, Netflix ect. … and the list goes on.
